Monies donated to the Alto Corrientes Health Care Fund provided medical treatment for the following Amazonian Indians:

• On August 21, 2007 a native women named Manya underwent emergency surgery for her inguinal hernia.

• On January 25, 2008 a native child named Nango received emergency treatment for a severe kidney infection.

Both Manya and Nango are healthy today thanks to the generosity of donors to the Alto Corrientes Health Care Fund.
